Do you want to know more about what the Government is doing to help firms in professional and business services grow and prosper?
Would you like to find out about the Government’s industrial strategy for professional and business services and to see how this approach might offer value to your firm, or firms like yours, here in the North East?
The Government is implementing a growth strategy for professional and business services. It is doing this in partnership with leading firms and with leadership coming from a sector council of leading business people. We are inviting Service Network members to register interest in a forthcoming breakfast workshop about this. Senior representatives of the Business Department, UK Trade & Investment and their business partners will be delivering the briefing on this.
There will be the chance to meet and hear from keynote speaker Baroness Neville-Rolfe, Government Minister at the Business Department, who co-chairs the Professional and Business Services Council, which is leading the growth strategy. The workshop will offer the chance to contribute your views on how this approach can meet the needs of businesses, especially small and medium firms, in supporting opportunities for growth and tackling barriers to this, in support to existing and new exporters, and in ensuring firms can get access to good people for their recruitment needs.
Please note as space is limited and demand is likely to be high, early booking will avoid disappointment.
Cost: Free to Service Network members. Note this event is only open to members.
