Legislative changes in employment law are essential knowledge for businesses and it can sometimes feel like a continuing struggle to keep up to speed. As well as that, businesses are under increased pressure from society and their own workforce to present themselves as flexible and accommodating organisations.
So how can a business meet these multiple demands in practice at the same time as ensuring that they maintain a productive workforce?
At this event, Robert Gibson, Head of the Employment Team and Managing Partner at Samuel Phillips will be taking us through the up and coming legislative changes in employment law including a brief overview and impacts of the Equality Act. He will also aim to untangle some of the employee productivity issues such as social media policy, flexible working, sickness absence and bank holidays.
This presentation will be followed by a short talk by Entrust’s HR Manager, Jill Duffy who will discuss the practicalities of implementing and managing such HR policies in the workplace and the possible implications for staff.
For business managers, HR managers and anyone with people management responsibilities, this is a ‘must attend’ event. Informal 1:1 clinics will be available at the end of the event.
