For over 30 years Entrust has been helping entrepreneurs and businesses in the North East to find the money and the talent that they need to grow.
During that time we have invested over £30m in loans and equity in thousands of organisations. We currently have over 500 borrowers with almost £15m actively invested.
And it doesn't stop there. In the past 18 months, our experts have worked intensively with over 250 companies on our Pathfinder and Coaching for High Growth programmes; 30 companies have secured more than £4m in angel investment at our Investor Forum events; and 200 companies have accessed almost £2.5m in loan finance in the past 12 months.
Helping businesses to be "fit for the money" is a key part of what we do. But we also need to ensure that "the money" is fit for purpose - the right amount, of the right type, at the right price, over the right term, etc.
On repayment, the loan funds that we manage contribute to a "legacy pot" in the region. When the legacy monies are available for re-investment, it is our goal to ensure that they are what businesses need i.e. fit for purpose, and that our business clients are "fit for the money".
This is where we need your input.
We are inviting our "friends and family" to join us to hear about our plans, learn more about the support that's available to help the region's businesses get ready for the (new) money, influence the region's direction of travel, and, importantly, have the opportunity to network with like-minded business people.
There is a maximum attendance at each event of 25 guests so we would urge you to register as soon as possible. And if you can't make any of the dates but want to meet, please just get in touch and we will arrange that.
Unlike Henry Ford who didn't want to talk to his customers, ("because if I did, they would only ask me for faster horses"), we believe in the wisdom of crowds. Please join our crowd.
